100 Jay St

This building was still fairly new, but because the initial developer hadn't put much design into the hallways, there was a real disconnect from the beautiful lobby and exterior to the corridors. Therefore, the residents wanted to elevate the look of the hallways. Flanking the elevators, we added alternating panels of glass and tile slabs. To tie in the lobby to the hallways the tile slab finish resembled a tarnished metal from the lobby and the glass was back painted to coordinate with the new color pallet. Existing sconces down the hallways remained, but opted for new sconces in the elevator landing which were mounted to the tile slabs. Additionally, while we initially planned on using a coordinating carpet in the elevator landing, the budget came in better than expected and so the decision was made to go with all porcelain tile in the elevator landing. A light colored wallcoveirng was installed down the hallways to brighten up the space, and a darker elegant wallcoveirng was used on the elevator wall.
