The Churchill
The client stated that they wanted a contemporary look, that would be timeless, as such wanted to keep the color pallet neutral, but still add pops of color with the art. To keep costs down, the existing console on each floor was refinished and the stone top replaced. A different, yet complimentary carpet, was used in the elevator landing versus down the halls. To further define the elevator area a black stone border was installed in around the perimeter. This not only added elegance to the space, but allows for a more durable walk off from the elevators. Existing chair rail remained, however it was painted to match the wallcoveirng to give it a more contemporary look.
